The Fox “not sold”

Despite the rumours it has just been confirmed by the current landlord that The Fox hasn’t in fact been sold as reported in FLDRA’s recent bulletin.

Stories have been circulating for several months, so where are they coming from? Is it the Fox up for sale? Should we be pressing for the pub to be registered with Enfield Council as a community asset ?

Yes! The Fox should really be listed as a community asset and needs to be protected as the one of the most important and iconic cultural gems of Palmers Green.

Absolutely agree! The Fox Pub was the first and only public house in Palmers Green and has become a landmark. I remember when we first moved here 30 years ago it was a theatre pub and now hosts the very popular monthly comedy club. It is one of the few places that offers car parking for people coming from outside the area for the various functions and activities held there. We should value it as the great asset to the community that it is as well as for its heritage.
