A little help at Christmas

According to yesterday’s Observer,  more than 13 million people in the UK are now living below the poverty line.

Palmers Green United Reformed Church (on the corner of Fox Lane and Burford Gardens) has set up a collection point for the North Enfield Foodbank, as part of the network established by anti poverty charity the Trussell Trust. The aim is to deliver emergency food and support to people who are in crisis. The church is asking local people to donate non perishable dry goods to the  collection point at the church entrance.
